    Hi Ian,

Was the plugin previously working? If the plugin was active it shouldn’t randomly get an error.

The screenshot appears as a broken link for me.

I will load up the most recent release of the plugin and see if I get an error as well. I will report back here with some findings shortly.

    Hi Ian,

I am not running into that issue. What version of the plugin are you loading? I’ve loaded up version 1.1.9 without any issues on an install running the latest version of core, 4.2.2.

    Thanks,
    Evan

Hi Evan – sorry for delay

I had 1.1.6 running on WP 4.2.2 – I may have had that running on prior WP version and upgraded to 4.2.2 – can’t recall.

Anyway, redownloaded 1.1.9, deleted previous plugin, re-installed – same error – as follows:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare activate_wp_svg_icons() (previously declared in /var/www/vhosts/ip-50-62-78-202.ip.secureserver.net/usmbokinfo/wp-content/plugins/svg-vector-icon-plugin/wp-svg-icons.php:30) in /var/www/vhosts/ip-50-62-78-202.ip.secureserver.net/usmbokinfo/wp-content/plugins/svg-vector-icons-pro/wp-svg-icons.php on line 32

    Please advise… thanks

BTw – I reinstalled 1.1.9 on another site – worked fine but should it deactivate the normal and activate the Pro – should I see any Pro plugin? Of to check install instructions again…

I think I know why – I had previously installed to test and evaluate on servicemanagement101.company but moved my attention to a companion site usmbok.info

I did not realize I also needed to deactivate license key and activate new site.

Can you provide me with the correct procedure to activate on WP – Do I need to have both plugins activated – normal and Pro – I’ve entered the license key in the field provided, activated and saved but did not get any message to confirm its working as it should be…

If I need on both sites is there an upgrade option and price?

    Hi Ian,

Sorry for the delay in responses. I had to give a presentation last night and spent the entire weekend preparing for it. I’ve had most of my other work on the back burner.

You only want one of the plugins active, ideally the pro version. You can uninstall the free version and re-install the pro version while preserving your custom icons.

If you’re attempting to install the pro version while the free version is installed, you’ll see that error that you’ve provided. That’s because both of the plugins contain many of the same functions, with the pro version having some added functionality.

Once you uninstall the free version you should no longer see that error when installing and activating the pro version of the plugin.

If you want you can reach out to me via the contact form here on the site. I am much more responsive via email. The forums sometimes does not alert me of new posts, so some time passes before I get around to answering them.

In regards to activating/deactivating sites, you can always login to the site as you did to post here in the forums and then head back to the homepage. Once on the homepage you should see an ‘Account’ button in the navigation. From there you can download the latest release of the plugin and manage which sites your license keys are active on.

In the coming weeks I plan to re-do this site to be far easier to navigate. So hopefully I can get around to that soon!

    Thanks,
    Evan

    Hi Ian,

We’ve been in touch via email so I’m going to close out this thread so we can continue there.

    Thanks,
    Evan
