    I must be doing or not doing something correctly. I have installed and configured the youtube plus plugin. It hits a brick wall every time I attempt to upload a video. Go daddy is my hosting service. When I use ‘the account/password check utility on the settings page.’ It tells me everything is good. Anyone have any tips? ‘make sure you have properly set up your personal channel’….but what does that mean….I am pretty sure it is set up properly what is it looking for? This is all I get;
“Oh no! It looks like there was an error during the upload. This generally occurs when you have mistyped something. Double check all of your settings, and retry the upload.”

    Hello Igunderman,

    1) Are you able to view your recent uploads in the Recent Uploads section?

    2) Do you have allow_url_fopen enabled on the server? If you’re not sure how to figure that out, I would ask your hosting provider. allow_url_fopen

enables the URL-aware fopen wrappers that enable accessing URL object like files.

    reference

If this is disabled you’re sure to get some sort of error, as you won’t be able to read the data returned from the YouTube API.

    3) Have you uploaded any content to your account previously?

    4) Finally, where are you getting this error? On the recent uploads section? if so I believe allow_url_fopen is the culprit.

    Thanks,
    Evan

    No recent uploads.
I will chk – ‘allow_url_fopen’ to see if it is enabled. Thank you for the fast response I will let you know!

I am actually having the same issue.
I go to upload, and it puts me right back to the title/description page. I do have access to recent uploads and allow_url_fopen is enabled. I think it may be my API.

Update: It does seem to be a Firefox issue. Worked perfectly fine in Chrome.

Still no luck! Has to be some setting I do not have right. I attached a screenshot but I do not know how helpful it will be. I can not see recent and I can not upload.

Sorry I never responded. For whatever reason I wasn’t getting emails about replies to threads.

Linda email me back on gmail, and I’ll get you squared away.

Geeked.us, keep an eye out for a new version in the upcoming days. I’m going to push an update to the repository, which should ideally take this ones place and is far more stable.

    Thanks,
    Evan
